This is my spinning wheel. The Louet S15. Purchased in February. Can you say base model? But it does the job, it's affordable and I really love it. And I sorta like the Scandinavian minimalist look.

This is the yarn I'm working on right now. It's a commercial roving from Louet. The color is called "Lichen."

 

Brown Sheep Company makes a commercial fiber preparation called "Beast" from their mill ends. You see me contemplating it in the photo above, and spinning it in the photos below. It's really cheap, and surprisingly nice to handle; a great fiber to play with while you're still learning. And I'm going to try dying it with Kool-aid.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of completed knitting projects using my handspun yarn. Except for one blue hat you can see a picture of in the knitting gallery, it's on my head in the green sweater picture. I will post more pictures as I complete projects.
