The last two days I have spent my free time after work cooking elaborate meals and then getting naked in the bedroom and decorating envelopes. The fall weather is wonderful, but I want it to be colder and rainier. It is supposed to get back up to 80 this weekend and it's irritating me.

Tonight we bought a 1991 Diesel Jetta for $200. It needs a head gasket and a whole lotta love. This means, of course, that we now own three Volkswagens which form the colors of the German flag. A black Jetta, a goldish Rabbit pick-up, and a red Fox.

All day, I have been waiting
for something more relevant
to happen to me,
so I would not have to write
about what I witnessed this morning.
Unfortunately,
nothing else came close to finding
a big, steaming pile of human feces, sitting in a pool of piss
in a thrift store on 124th and Powell.
