Attention Portland Knitters, Spinners & Weavers! There is a fabulous new shop you must check out. It is called Fiber Arts Northwest. The shop is beautiful. It is owned by Valerie DeGroot. She has several of everything to chose from. Her prices seem to be right in line with the other shops in town. I bought my spinning wheel from her. She'll be offering lots of classes. I can't say enough great stuff about this place.

Yesterday I made a fake cigarette out of a piece of note paper. I watched The Royal Tenenbaums and pretended to smoke. Yikes. Halfway through I realized all I was after was the deep breathing.

My spinning wheel came last week. I will post pictures as soon as I can.
